Welcome, scholars and students of the Boreal Master - The Society for Creative Academia is pleased to invite all to the new center of studies on the Boreal Master and his works. The Foundation would like to congratulate all Boreal scholars (those who still retain a shred of sanity, let alone academic dignity) for their continuing pursuit of excellence in understanding the body of works left behind by this great literary genius of the Viking era. Your dedication to anything that will grant you tenure has made this collection of academic papers possible, and for that, we at the Foundation thank you. No, *really*. Whether you are a serious Boreal scholar, a student in need of information for a term paper, or an insomniac with nothing better to do at this hour of the morning, all are welcome to peruse and cogitate on the materials presented herein. As the body of Boreal studies continues to grow, so too do we at the Foundation plan to grow this site. We sincerely thank the Society for Creative Academia for recognizing the need for this specialized scholarly collection, and for making sure the staff of the Foundation have adequate benefits to cover a seemingly bizarre increase in "mental health days" for those working on the Boreal Project. As we expect the second biennial Boreal Master Symposium, held in Ealdormere in mid-October of this year, will open the floodgates for a new wave of Boreal scholars, the Foundation hopes to have the collected papers from the Boreal Symposium online as soon as our web staff returns from treatment at the psychiatric clinic on the other side of campus. In the meantime, feel free to peruse the works collected here thus far, and please don't be alarmed by any burgeoning sense of doom and dread that may overcome you while reading some of these works. It's all sheer coincidence. No, *really*. This site maintained by THL Arnora Dunestan, Last updated: 04/28/03 |
